Limited Stay Visa or in other words KITAS granted upon the authorization of the Directorate General of Immigration in Jakarta. With the intention of working as an Expert in International Organizations under the United Nations.

Duration of Stay :

Maximum 2 years.

Temporary Stay Visa for Work – C312

This type of limited stay visa is valid with the intention of working (requires Director-General approval), such as:

1.	As an expert,
2.	Join forces to work on ships, floating tools or installations operating in the territorial waters of the Archipelago, the territorial sea or continental shelf, and the Indonesian Exclusive Economic Zone,
3.	Carry out tasks as clergy,
4.	Carry out activities related to the profession by receiving payments,
5.	Conduct inspections or audits at branches of companies in Indonesia,
6.	Carry out activities in the context of commercial film making and also have obtained permission from the competent authority,
7.	Serving after-sales,
8.	Install and also repair the machine,
9.	Do non-permanent work in the context of construction,
10.	Conduct arts, music, and also sports shows,
11.	Hold professional sports activities,
12.	Carry out medical activities, and also
13.	Prospective foreign workers who will work in the framework of testing expertise.

This type of limited stay visa is valid with the intention of not working for foreign investment for
a maximum of 1 year (requires approval from the Director-General).

This type of limited stay visa is valid with the intention of not working for foreign investment for

This type of visa is not suitable for work.

Requirements :
Foreigners who join themselves with a husband or wife who is an Indonesian citizen;

A letter of application from an Indonesian husband or wife,
A valid nationality passport that is still valid for a minimum of 18 (eighteen) months (photocopy),
Photocopy of marriage certificate or marriage book,
Letter of proof of marriage reporting from the Representative of the Republic of Indonesia and photocopy of marriage certificate or marriage book that has been translated in Indonesian by
a sworn translator, except english, if the marriage is conducted outside the territory of
the Republic of Indonesia,
A proof has a living cost for himself and or his family while in Indonesia, at least
US $1500 (one Thousand five hundred US dollars), and also
Color photo fitting with a size of 4 cm x 6 cm (four centimeters six centimeters) with a white background of 2 (two) sheets.

Foreigners who join themselves with the husband or wife of a Temporary Stay Permit holder or Permanent Stay Permit;

A guarantee letter from the guarantor,
A valid national passport that is still valid for a minimum of 18 (eighteen) months for foreigners who follow a Limited Stay Permit husband or wife or a Permanent Stay Permit for less than 1 (one) year (photocopy),
Marriage certificate or marriage book that has been translated into Indonesian by a Sworn Translator, except English (photocopy),
Limited Stay Permit or Permanent Stay Permit or Approval Letter for a limited stay and valid visa for
a husband or wife (photocopy),
A Proof has a living cost for himself and or his family while in Indonesia, at least
US $1500 (one Thousand five hundred US dollars), and also
Color photo fitting with a size of 4 cm x 6 cm (four centimeters six centimeters) with a white background of 2 (two) sheets.

Children of legitimate marriages between foreigners and Indonesian citizens;

A guarantee letter from the guarantor,
A letter of application from an Indonesian father or mother,
A valid nationality passport that is still valid for a minimum of 18 (eighteen) months (photocopy),
A birth certificate that has been translated in Indonesian by a Sworn Translator, except English (photocopy),
Marriage certificate or parent’s marriage book that has been translated into Indonesian by
a Sworn Translator, except English (photocopy),
Valid Indonesian citizen or father identity card (photocopy),
The family card of an Indonesian citizen father or mother (photocopy),
Letter of proof of marriage reporting for parents, for those who make marriages outside
the territory of Indonesia,
A Proof has a living cost for himself and or his family while in Indonesia, at least
US $1500 (one Thousand five hundred US dollars), and also

Children who are not 18 (eighteen) years of age and are not married to foreigners who have legally married Indonesian citizens;

A valid nationality passport that is still valid for a minimum of 18 (eighteen) months (photocopy),
A birth certificate that has been translated in Indonesian by a Sworn Translator, except English (photocopy),
Marriage certificate or parent’s marriage book that has been translated into Indonesian by
a Sworn Translator, except English (photocopy),
Valid Indonesian citizen or father identity card (photocopy),
The Indonesian father or mother’s family card (photocopy),
Letter of proof of marriage reporting for parents, for those who make marriages outside
the Territory Of Indonesia,

Children who are not 18 (eighteen) years old and who are not married who join their parents with a limited Stay Permit or Permanent Stay Permit;

A guarantee letter from the guarantor,
Photocopy of a valid and still valid national passport:
A. For a minimum of 30 (thirty) months for foreign children who follow the parents of holders of
a Temporary Stay Permit or a Permanent Stay Permit with a validity period of more than 1 (one) year,
B. For a minimum of 18 (eighteen) months for foreign children who follow the parent holding
a Limited Stay Permit or Permanent Stay Permit with a validity period of less than 1 (one) year,
Photocopy of a birth certificate that has been translated into Indonesian by a Sworn Translator, except English,
Photocopy of marriage certificate or parent’s marriage book that has been translated into Indonesian by a Sworn Translator, except English,
Photocopy of a Temporary Stay Permit Card or a Valid Permanent Residence Permit Card,
A proof of having a living cost for himself and or his family while in Indonesia, at least

This visa is granted for foreign national who wants to regain his or her Indonesian citizenship. In addition, this visa is not suitable for work.

Temporary Stay Visa for Retirees – C319

This visa is granted to foreign elderly tourists or retirees age 55 or above who apply for staying in Indonesia.

Duration of Stay :

1 (one) year.

Requirements :

1.	Sponsor letter from the sponsor which is a travel agency,
2.	Copy of valid nationality passport with at least 18 (eighteen) months validity,
3.	Company business license and tax ID number of a travel agent,
4.	Curriculum vitae, history of employment and education of foreigner,
5.	A Proof, by pension agency or bank of origin country or of Indonesia, of having at least US 1500 (one thousand five hundred dollars) per month to meet the need in Indonesia,
6.	Health insurance, life insurance, and civil law responsibility to a third party in origin country or Indonesia,
7.	A proof of accommodation in Indonesia by purchasing accommodation at least USD 35.000 (thirty-five Thousand dollars) or rent per month at least:
	A. US$500 (five hundred dollars) for DKI Jakarta, Bandung, and Bali,
	B. US$300 (three hundred dollars) for other regions in Java island, Batam, and Medan,
	C. US$200 (two hundred dollars) other than region mentioned in point a) and b),
8.	Statement to employ at least 2 (two) Indonesian.

Temporary Stay Visa for Work and Holiday – C320

This type of visa can be used for educational, tourism, health, social, sport, and cultural art activities. Currently eligible only for Australian passport holders.

Duration of Stay :

Valid for 1 (one) year

Requirements :

1.	Sponsor letter from the sponsor,
2.	Recommendation letter issued by the immigration agency of origin country,
3.	Education certificate issued by a university or same level education institution for those who are already graduated or reference letter as an active university student at least 2 (two years completed by student card issued by the university),
4.	Return ticket or proof of having fund equivalence with the ticket,
5.	Copy of valid nationality passport with at least 18 (eighteen) months validity,
6.	Evidence of having cost living of he or she and or while in Indonesia at least a USD $5000 (five thousand dollars),
7.	2 (two) colored passport photo sized 4 cm x 6 cm with white background.
