Limited Stay Visa – KITAS

As a foreigners who will work or stay longer in Indonesia, obtaining a limited stay visa in Indonesia is a must. A Limited Stay Visa is a visa for long term temporary stay that covers all aspects relevant. Moreover, it not limited to: Investing, Working, Missionary (religious), Study or training, Research, Joint Family, Repatriation, and Retirement.

Limited Stay Visa or in other words KITAS granted upon the authorization of the Directorate General of Immigration in Jakarta. Important to realize that prior approval applied by sponsor in Indonesia to Directorate General of Immigration. Therefore, to expedite the authorization, it is advisable to have the sponsor in Indonesia also submit the application directly to the Directorate General of Immigration in Jakarta. The copy of approval must be attached to visa application. Another key point that Limited Stay Visa can be extended in Indonesia.
