Starting June 10, 2022, Travelers from Overseas Must Fill in the e-Customs Declaration


The new policy was set by Soekarno Hatta Airport. Passengers arriving at the airport are required to fill out an online Customs Declaration. The Customs Declaration is filled out on each arrival. One family can file one Customs Declaration. Customs Declaration is a document that contains information regarding data on passengers from abroad and their luggage.

In the past, this document was obtained on board the aircraft shortly before landing at an international airport in Indonesia or it could also be obtained at the self-service desk before entering Customs inspection.

Now, filling can be done through the e-Custom Declaration website by clicking on https://ecd.bcsoetta.org/passengers. First of all, travelers will be warned to fill out the e-Customs Declaration with honest data.

Then, it is continued with the provision regarding personal goods that are free from import duty, excise, and taxes or goods that are subject to tax or excise duty. Also, the amount of money that is brought flying.

In the Customs Declaration, a traveler must fill in personal data, including name, date of birth, nationality, passport number, address, flight number and several things related to baggage. Then provide a yes or no statement in the list in the e-Customs Declaration
