Why All Companies in Indonesia Have Submitted The Investment Activity Report to The BKPM?

According to BKPM Regulation Number 7 Year 2018 Article 5, all companies in Indonesia have to submit to investment activity report providing their investment in Indonesia.

The investor has the obligation to send the LKPM report to the BKPM ‘Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal (Investment Coordinating Board in Indonesia) according to Article 15 of Indonesian Investment Activity and Article 11 (1) of the BKPM Regulation Number 14 Year 2017.

When do You Need to Submit the LKPM Report?

In accordance with the BKPM Regulation Number 7 Year 2018 article 10 and 11.

The investor must send the LKPM report every 3 months. The investor needs to send LKPM report quarterly, like the following:

1. During the January – March period, LKPM must be submitted by April 10th of the same year.
2. During the April – June period, LKPM must be submitted by July 10th of the same year.
3. During the July – September period, LKPM must be submitted by October 10th of the same year.
4. During the October – December period, LKPM must be submitted by January 10th of the following year.

What Data do You Need to Prepare for Reporting the LKPM Report?

The LKPM report of a limited obligation company consists of the following:

1. The financial statement of your company basic on the balance sheet and the Profit or Loss report,
2. The list of your employees especially detail the total WNI (Warga Negara Indonesia) or citizen of Indonesia and WNA (Warga Negara Asing) or foreign citizen,
3. The list of data and copies file legal of your company-owned.

There are two LKPM phases, companies that report LKPM in the construction phase are companies that have not yet started commercial production. At this phase the company is still in the process of building, preparing for the company’s physical needs.

The production phase is intended for companies that are ready to sell their products to the market. Before starting the production phase, the company is required to fill in Commercial Production Ready Statement Form (Form Pernyataan Siap Berproduksi) on the left side of the dashboard on the online LKPM page.

For the LKPM that has been submitted, the company will receive a notification of proof of LKPM reporting sent to the email of the person in charge who was registered when applying for access rights. After LKPM is verified by BKPM as the final verifier, the company will receive an online notification of approval of the report. If the company has received notification of approval, it means that the submitted LKPM has been entered into the national database which will be accumulated with other LKPM data.
