Master List in Indonesia
A Master list is a master plan document for the needs of operating goods to be imported and will be used by contractors used for petroleum, gas, and geothermal operations within the scope of upstream business activities which are the basis for submitting imports of operating goods. Each contractor is required to have a plan for the need for Imported Goods (RKBI). RKBI is a draft that contains a statement of the operation of upstream business activities such as field processing, transportation, storage, and selling of the products themselves to obtain profits and or profits such as LNB and or LPG activities.
If your business in Indonesia is manufacturing companies some goods such as machinery or raw materials can only be found aboard. The Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) has made regulations for this issue has given the option for companies to make a master list of machines to be imported into Indonesia. The master list usually refers to a list of goods or raw materials that are produced or a review of the manufacturing process for one year. A Master List in Indonesia must be submitted to BKPM or the Customs and Excise Office to review the submissions.
How to Register Master List in Indonesia?
The Regulation in PERKA BKPM number 16 of 2015, Import duties for machinery will be provided as long as the machines have not been produced domestically have been produced but have not met the required specifications or the number of machines is not enough to accommodate the industry. According to PERKA BKPM number 16 of 2015, it gives a timeframe to obtain a customs exemption master list and importers import into Indonesia with a period of 2 years after the master list in Indonesia is issued by BKPM.

13. Purpose of use of the relevant operating goods.
In addition to the requirements for filing RKBI, contractors are required to have and fulfill requirements such as:
1. | Copy of the Deed of Establishment and its amendments and the ratification of Ministry, |
2. | Copy of the Certificate of Domicile of the company head office from the local village office or building manager or area manager, |
3. | Copy of NPWP and Record of Company Registration (TDP), |
4. | Copy of Registration or Approval Letter owned, |
5. | Copy of Business License in the Import Trade sector owned or Industrial Business Permit, |
6. | Original references from Foreign Exchange Banks, |
7. | Copy of Permit to Employer Foreign Workers (IMTA), Residence Permit Cards (KITAS), Passports, and NPWP for Signatories of Foreign Citizens (WNA) import documents, |
8. | Copy of Identity Card (KTP) and NPWP for Indonesian Citizen (WNI), |
9. | API, |
10. | The power of attorney signed by the company leader is sufficiently stamped and the company stamp, |
11. | The application is signed by the Chairman of the Company with sufficient duty stamp and Company Seal. |
